PM with hydromassage

Hello everyone I'm new here although I have had my pacer a little over two years now. No problems with it. I love it. I never even think about it unless I get ready to "do" something, then I do some research. I have found its difficult to get answers to my questions on Google alone. Anyway, I would like to know if anyone has used hydromassage since getting their PM. I have severe lower back pain and was looking at this option but I'm not sure if it is safe to use or not. Does anyone know or have experience using this massage machine? Thanks in advance for sharing your experience!

Hydro-massage and massage therapy should be OK. I got a script from my doctor for massage therapy so my massage therapist would be covered under insurance in case something went wrong. Not to worry as she worked around any areas that could have been trouble.

Obviously you won't want to put water jets directly on the PM site. It'll probably hurt too much anyway. Be careful about getting overheated and stay hydrated. Sounds funny but you'll want to keep hydrated even though you're in the water.

You may want to find a massage therapist. I was very fortunate to find a real good one (she was a massage instructor) who was able to find a lot of kinks. My therapy session went very well the following day as I wasn't twisted like a pretzel. The mental relief from the physical pain meant I got a real good night's sleep.

I had a lot of back pain in earlier years. Found a good massage therapist who has since moved out of the area. She traced my back pain to some trigger muscles in the back. Once she got those muscles unkinked the back pain went away. Anytime I'd feel those muscles starting to get tight I'd see her, get the muscles loose and wouldn't have the back pain. That's another reason why I prefer the massage therapist. But the hydro-therapy should help too.

I want to know if i can use a HYDRO BED..no contact with the water at all,you dont get wet..my back is killing me,taking the dog a walk is not funny...????  help.
