Home from the hospital after PM.

As the PM was installed, I felt a warmth spread throughout my chest. I figured that it was the increased bloodflow. (My pulse was only 36, and now it is 60 -- some difference.) My PM is a CYLOS DR by Biotronik.
This site and the questions and replied of all you wonderful people helped me prepare for surgery. Thank you all from the bottom of my (now faster) heart. Barbara

Hi Barbara!
Your pacer sounds like one of the X-Men...what's his name....? Oh, Cyclops or Cyclone or whatever, lol.

Anyway, that is great news that your surgery went well! I hope you have a speedy recovery and that you remain warm from now on :)
take care,

new PM

Hey Barbara,
Welcome to PM Club! I too felt increase warmth when I got my PM in January -- and it wasn't a temporary improvement either! My husband and I have stopped fighting over the house and car thermostats. Isn't it wonderful? I hope whatever other symptoms you had before the PM are improved too, and let us know how life with your new PM is going. Everyone is different so we want to hear your story too. Take care, Cathryn

I wasn't really self-conscious about it. I didn't even know I had one until around six or seven years old. I just thought I had a rock in my side.
