Donating Blood with PM

I am approaching a year with my PM and feel better than I have felt in years!

My question is whether I can donate blood with a PM? I was a donor before and loved doing it and would love to be able to but have been getting conflicting information from people. Anyw help would be appreciated.

I had the same experience. I am a regular donor and the heart medications - a thinner and beta blocker ruled me out of the program.

Phil,

You will have to get a final answer from the blood center as they have the criterion blood donor must meets. My guess is the pacemaker will not make a difference but some medication you are now taking could rule you out as a donor. Once when I was taking a blood thinner and a beta blocker I was turned down. They don’t want me now because of age (70+) and a few other factors.
