WHERE IS LENORA?

Well people, it seems that all your attempts at reaching Lenora have failed.
You might as well accept the fact that Lenora has flown the coop.
The last message, ( or one of the last,) she posted, dealt with her dog having been attacked by another dog, while she took him on a walk.
I know how much she loves that dog, from some of the stories she shared about him occasionally. And if anything happened to him, it would explain her silence.
She strikes me as a private person, and we should respect that.
She has given us a lot of good information, and enabled us to fend for ourselves. I for one am thankful.
I'm sure that when she is ready, she'll let us know.
Lenora, take care, and be assured that you are in our hearts and in our thoughts.

you know i agree with dominique as lenora really is a private person. she will be back i feel at some time. she was very attached to her little dog and if something happened to him it would be devestating for her. so i hope and pray that she is okay and someday she will return. in the meantime she needs our respect and privacy. jessie

"flown the coop" LOL

maybe I'm just tired but that made me laugh. I like that expression; lets bring it back.

anyway, yes, prayer is good to do right now in regards to Lenora.

take care,

Flown The Coop.

I didn't use that expression for anything but what it is intended to mean: " disappear from view, with no forwarding address. "
And, Valerie, it is funny! Especially when you visualize it. A little humor to ease the tension.
It's easy to think the worst, and I can understand why some of you do.
Lenora's mother is 84, and I doubt that she is even aware that Lenora belongs to the pacemaker club. Though if she does, I doubt that she knows how to access it.
Lenora's sister in law took care of her after her surgery, her mon took care of the dog.
Lenora didn't mention her s-i-l's name. I know that Lenora lives in Birmingham Alabama. She mentioned it once. But I don't recall her mentioning at which hospital she worked.
If someone wants to start calling all of Birmingham's hospitals, and ask if someone named Lenora works as a cardiac nurse you may be able to solve this mysterious puzzle.
I hope this little bit of info can get you started on your detective work. Meanwhile, I'll keep searching for more clues.
I really wish I could do more, I care about her as much as you all do.

Actually....

I might be able to see what I can do. "I'll make you an offer you can't refuse." :) title of that movie? anyone?

Anyway, moving on...
my sister is an epidemiologist with an emphasis on statistical analysis over here in Los Angeles (though we all still live together). Anyway! off topic, sorry.

I can ask her if its possible to use this one data base that they use to find people. They need it to run their trials b/c they need a large sample size to do the analysis. Thus, they have numerous contact information. The only downside is that the paper work to get this done is not a quick process. There are certain steps to this and it would probably be 2 or 3 months before we get any information ( I think; I'll have to double check with her). Also, I dont know if it can be used like this, but it doesn't hurt to ask, as I'm sure you all agree. This is worth it. Lenora has touched all of our hearts with her kindness and wonderful knowledge in which she presented to us without hesitation.

So, I'll talk with my sister tomorrow after she comes back from work.
As for a data base that you mentioned Cathryn, I do have a family friend that might be able to give me some information to go about doing the address idea thingy. He actually is the one who found my EP while sitting next to him on a plane.
Anyway, I'll keep you all posted when I find out anything.
take care,
~valerie
