Red Skin

I woke up this morning and have a large red skin mark or rash around my pacemaker (actually larger than pacemaker). No bumps or anything but a large red skin circle. I think that I slept on my pacemaker side last night. I had this before, but the next day it went away. Should I be worried ? Pacemaker impact 2001, with 2 years left. I hope its nothing, tired of doctors...

Is the red skin itching, burning, or sore? I would say that if you have any other symptoms other than color call your doc right away. We are all tired of doctors... but if we don't take care of ourselves, no one else will! If the redness doesn't subside even by this afternoon you might put in a call...

I have not had this experience, but I am so new I am still trying to figure out most of what is going on! I guess just use common sense! Be proactive, I think it pays off. Actually if you see the doctors in the beginning of something going wrong, you actually have to see them less if they can take care of it right away... or at least that is what I am trying to convince myself of... :p
