You Rang...?

"I'm sorry to hear she's been a bit off lately"
Hey, wait a minute; I’m not off! Oh, health wise you mean… :)

First, thank you Cathryn, Jessie, Tammy, and Suze for all the prayers. It truly means a lot to me. Its so good to chat with people on this site, b/c even though the world is psycho and demented, its great to know that there are people who truly care about others, especially if they haven’t even met in person! But then again, some can also be caring and psycho, haha jk

Well, I guess an update.
My 56 year old uncle had a stroke about 2 weeks ago (or around there). There was a large amount of fluid compressing his cerebellum. They had to drain it, and then take out the dying tissue (1/3 of his cerebellum) that was caused by the lack of oxygen from the pressure.
Amazingly, he has no deficits whatsoever. The only thing is that he can become a little confused at times, but other than that, he’s still the same uncle like before. They moved him down from ICU about 2 days ago, so he’s getting better. He’s being treated at the VA hospital in LA.

As for myself…well, I’ve been better. My parents and I got back from the ER around 4am today (admitted only for observation). They were all extremely nice towards my parents, which I am so grateful for. At other ERs, they always were rude to them as if they were a nuisance.

Anyway, we had to go there b/c there was a pain in my abdomen; this pain is coming from my right ovary, which has a 4cm hemorrhagic cyst, causing the excruciating pain (9/10). They started an IV and gave me Benadryl and some pain medication (I’m allergic to all opiates and narcotics so that’s why I can only take Tylenol at home), but this time, Tylenol didn’t help one bit.
The demented thing about this is that I cant have anything go wrong with this ovary, b/c my left ovary was removed 2 years ago (it was twisting and lack of blood flow was slowly “killing” it, so-to-speak).
So, they scheduled me to go see a doctor over at Saddleback Memorial Hospital on Tuesday. Hopefully this can be treated conservatively.

Also, these past 2 weeks I have been having weird tachycardic rhythms (140) but now its not that high…around 90 or so (its tolerable). But, the docs said it could be caused by this pain I’m having in my lower right abdomen, or, the PM settings. My EP called me and said to go ahead and make an appointment to go see him and he’ll tweak the settings a bit.
The ER doctor also noticed that my tricuspid valve murmur was more prominent, but attributed that to the heart beating so hard b/c of the pain, so you can hear it better….which makes sense I guess.

You are all such amazing people…..well, some a little scary than others….lol jk
I’m off to dreamland now since my whole circadian rhythm is out of whack. Lets see….what to dream about….George Clooney…yes, that will do.
Take care peoples. I’ll try to keep you posted.

So glad I finally got to talk to you today. Lets just pray that this tues they will get things figured out. On another note I hope that you get a nurse with some talent touching you instead of these idiots that don't know how to push IV's.
I know your in good hands and God will take care of you Valerie. Just remember what you told me about Job and all the things he faced stay strong and continue to seek out the Lord.
Take care of yourself and i'm glad you posted an update for everyone. Get lots of rest and lets hope these pain killers that they are trying will work and no allergic reaction will happen.
Sleep lots and enjoy dreaming about George Clooney.. Or maybe even those good lookin guys that you had in the hospital.. j/k...
