Lets all meet!!

Hi Everyone!!!! God bless...Here is an idea...i dont know if this is something u already do or not but wouldnt it be awesome if we figured out some way we could all meet? Like a convention or something? I think it would be so awesome to meet people who have the same issues as me. It would be like other groups have their annual get togethers and they pick a certain place where everyone meets and have like a pacemaker/icd reunion or something!! wouldnt that be exciting!!! Am i the only one who thinks this? Please post your responses....;0) thank you.

I think it would be a great idea. Not sure if I could attend due to my work and such, but would love to if I could.

With great pleasure I want to say that I will be meeting a very special friend next month face to face!!! We met right here on this site. We both have had many days of laughter, shared tears and provided much support to each other over the past year. Can't spoil the announcement that my friend is wanting to share with you all... so I'll keep their ID a secert for now. :O)

I personally feel that a general meeting in multiple cities is a great idea!!

Must be gone before I spill the beans...

if we could do something like that I sure would like to meet alot of people from on here to thank in person the friendship that they have bestowed on me in the written word, it means more than alot of people think. And meet others on this site. In this time of layoffs, high gas prices for no reason, and the biggest problem everyone is scattered all over the country and world that alot wouldnt be able to attend but Im game if something could be worked out, I wish I could go to Florida for the get together that is going to happen in a few months. Still havent ruled it out.
I think another idea that would be a great addition to the site would be times that could be set up on the website for different chats that would be a weekly or daily thing, dont know how that could be posted on the webpage but it would be cool if something like that was on here. Alot of people dont put where thier from on thier bios, so many time zones never know when people are on here, I come daily around the same time but can never catch anyone in chat. Im from Bourbon Indiana in the usa and it is 650am here when i post this.

If you do a search of the posts from about a month ago, Blake (admin, owner of the site) posted about a Heartbeat International fundraiser in Florida this fall. I'm not sure how many will be there but he's planning some social and possibly educational events for us that weekend.

Here is a suggestion,several years ago I attended a charity jetski event for an injured rider,well the event actually took place in numerous states and countries in @ the same time. We could schedule meet and greets on the same day all over the world and then swap stories. Maybe even each site could set up a computer with a webcam and people could just walk past and video chat with all the other meetings. just a suggestion..

a fundraiser going on I think it is Tampa, Blake put a post on here for members that could go, he would make hotel reservations, setup dinner or go to bush gardens I think, or speakers, and on one of the days I dont remember what it is some kinda of fundraiser. I think it was in septemeber, use the search like i should have done befoe I posted this. lol.
