RateResponse/ settings
Hi all, Happy Holidays ,
Quick question lol..
ok Got PM 2 years ago..setting issues since , soo last settings HR 60/ RR Med High/ 135 high rate
What was happingin is when working out i have to issues getting HR up , I have issues geting HR to slow down, as well as sleeping at 60 was still to high, Getting AV double beats HR getting to 180 ect on and off 60 sec , 20 sec ..
DR said its false reading , Have history of very fast SVT 4 ablations , all strips show the same thing on and off , he says it false , made some clicks and changes to make it not read the double beats , put RR to med LOW./ and HR to 55
Now I am tired.. But went to the Gym and still HR goes up but having issue getting it down .. I do Hiit workouts .. Not to fast , any ideas or help would be greatly appriciated , ps I am 60 and try to workout 4 times a week, just have been cronic tired since PM, maybe I am just getting older hahaha

Hi thanks for the response..using phone do please excuse typos..good idea to cover up hr monitor..the Dr lowered my rr to med low.my issue is my her will nowt slow when cooling down from a workout instead of it slowing down it goes up then slowed down if I get pAst 140 it's my svt trip zone So i Do have to keep a eye out..he had it set the rr at med high before ..I have no issues getting it up it's getting it down ..This has been a on going issue since I got my pm..But it's good to know that the machines are nuts I see that when working on them..But when I do hiit workouts I do Rely on my hr monitor to make sure I do not get to fast trying to find someone in my area that really understands hr settings maybe I will call medtrioncs

Hi Cindy. Not sure I understood most of your post, but wondered about your gym readings. Are you basing HR on a device you're wearing, or the machine readouts? I've found the machine readouts at my gym to be completely off and, frankly, scary. I cover up the HR readout with a towel when I use the exercise bike because I don't want to see it jumping all over the place. I know my heart is not that wacko, or I'd be falling off. Just saying, if the readout is coming from gym machine, I'd say be wary.
