My biotronik pacemaker was implanted in late August 2016 and this past week the cardiologist told me that one of the leads had dislodged. What should I expect to happen to resolve this problem . I will have sergery on 1/6/17 to replace the lead, at a Baylor FW.

I had the same thing happen with my Biotronik in February this year. I had another procedure to repair the damage. They use the same scar which in my case hadn't healed over. The worst thing was having to abide by the don't lift your arms above your shoulder again when I was just about ready to use them again. It is not as bad as the initial placement because you know what to expect. Good luck

The same thing happened to me. You'll go in and have the surgery done again but luckily it hurts a lot less and healing time is a lot quicker as they've already done the pocket. Hope it goes well and sorry the same unfortunate and unlucky thing has happened to you
