Use some ice on youe incision it helps with pain, swelling and bruising.  Drink lots of water to clear your system. Take your pain medication even if you think it is not needed.  After two days you will be safe to drop the pain meds.

Second post I read and I notice that you and I share the same implant day, hope that your recovery is going as well as mine appears to be ... Returning to work Monday and looking forward to geting into Golf again, felt elated yesterday when I got back into my walking routine and stepped out 12,000 step, it feels good to get back to a nearer to normal life again.
