A few years back following a prolonged angiogram that required me to have my left arm out at circa 90deg for a hour or so, I had a similar thing happen. The muscles in my back and shoulder went into spasm late evening the same day It was so painfull I thought I was having another MI. I seem to remember it being sore for a number of days after.

Also the consultants lul you into thinking it's a relatively "painless" procedure. The reality of it is it takes weeks/month to be free of pain following implant.

If you had sub peck implant you are going to hurt for a while. Very painful to have them lift the muscle and insert a micro computer.  You may not have your device show so much however you are going to have more pain than if you had the device planted on top of the muscle.

I would ask if your shoulder was dislocated or separated during the implant process.

You have a Trapezius Muscle it is a big long muscle that is the cause of much unhappiness for a lot of people. Whiplash and similar injuries damage that muscle. Sometimes just a stiff neck sets off the process of muscle spasms that get the entire Trapezius Muscle inflamed.

Heat and Ice packs, maybe gentle stretching.

Try physical therapy. They have a number of different things that they can use to help.

It includes heat, cold, massaging, stretching, and trigger point work.

Thank you

I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for pacemakers. I've had mine for 35+ years. I was fainting all of the time and had flat-lined also. I feel very blessed to live in this time of technology.
