SCUBA

Hey there,

I'm a new owner and an avid SCUBA diver. Doctor has assured me I have "cadillac" appliance and have nothing to worry about.

Are there any divers out there?

All best, Rico

That's interesting. I was always told the device couldn't cope with the pressure. I did wonder a while ago if they had improved. Good luck!

Medtronics told me that my unit (A2DR01) has only been tested to 60 feet and highly recommend not going deeper than that.

I would get an affirmative answer from the manufacturer not just the Dr.

They will have an answer, just may take some chasing to find it.

Good luck

I got my basic certification with no issues. My cardiologist gave his full support to the activity.

My doc and Medtronic guy have cleared me to dive with no restrictions! Woot! Let's get wet!

I'm a runner, mountain climber, kayaker, snow skier, bicycler and scuba diver. The only activity among those that I'm not yet cleared to do is scuba diving, and when I am cleared, I'll be limited to diving to 50 feet.
