Biotronik home monitoring system yellow

I was wondering if anyone else is having an issue with there home monitoring device from biotronik. The bottom light is staying yellow. We have never had any problems with this happening and have had the device for almost 3 years. I have called Biotronik and can't even get passed the operator who said many people are having this issue but the Drs. are still getting everything they need transmitted and took down my name and number.

3 weeks ago my husband received his first shock that was an inappropriate shock from his ICD. The bottom lead was determined to be bad and the static it was giving off made it fire off and give him a shock. The lead has been replaced, however seeing the yellow glow all the time on his home monitoring system is not the best reassurance that we need at this time that everything is operating fine.

I would keep calling, Emailing and send a written letter to Biotronik's headquarters.  I would guess that might get some action. Written letters especially if someone has to sign for them get some positive action.

I would also call your implant doctor as ask his or her office manager to help you.

You are dealing with the squeeky wheel gets the grease.  Also point out the added stress to your husband and family.  Log each contact for future reference. Polite but firm is the best plan.

I have been having this same problem for a few weeks now.  I have called my doctor and he has been getting the normal data as schedule, but its had a yellow light at least 50% of the time recently.
