Anyone else have pain on right side (opposite side of implant) chest and all the way down the right side back when laying down and trying to breathe? Still painful when sitting up but not as bad. I had my pacemaker defibrillator put in two weeks ago. I am 34 years old.

Pain is normal, trouble breathing is not. If you are having trouble breathing, you need to be seen asap to rule out pericarditis.

I had it 18 days after implant. You don't want that to progress. An Echo will reveal if you have fluid.
I agree with Tracey....make an appointment or go to ER.

Went to ER. Had some fluid in right lung and inflammation in my lungs. They have put me on steroids and pain meds. Thank you everyone.

I was was sore for quite a few weeks all over my chest, shoulders, and back post implant. I think some of it is obviously due to the procedure, but I think you also guard yourself against the pain and that sets other muscles off. If you need them take Paracetamol, however if it persists mention it to your GP.
I had my device implanted almost 12 months ago and still have days when it's sore.
