When I feel down, I like to take a nice long walk or hit the gym.  A little exercise helps me every time.  Hope you're spirits are up really soon!

24 hour friend

Hi, Alan

Yep, a ray of sunlight always replaces a cloud.  Watch for it. You have a friend inside your chest that has been loyal to you 24 hours a day for six years.  Your device became your friend when you needed a special kind of friend. Try to think of all the things you have enjoyed and accomplished because of it.  I am sorry you are down right now.  Just don't let yourself stay there.   Perhaps, there is something else you need to resolve in your life that is related but not the device itself.....maybe, you still need to accept your need for a device yourself, or maybe, it is how someone else relates to you because you have a device.  You are still you!  I wish you sunshine!

Ups and downs

Alane I know how it goes. I had my PM implanted 3-3-17 and a little angry about being dependent on an appliance. I also feel cheated a little, I would have been home sooner. God must have more for me to complete down here. Thank you for shariing, It brought me to be more empathetic than selfish.

You know you're wired when...

Your favorite poem is “Ode to a Cardiac Node”.
