Can i ride on go carts?

hi, I have a st Jude pace maker for 7 yrs, and caddied for 6, ride golf carts all the time with no problem, except it's cart path only at pebble beach, lol

I fell off a moving go cart when I was younger and was fine, so you should be good. Maybe make sure you have some sort of patient I'd on you just in case.

I have drove go karts a few times since my pacemaker implantation which was almost two years ago! All was well :) nice to see someone else young! I got mine when I was 24, I am 26 now!

Thanks everyone for replying my question.I was diagnosed with heart failure at 18 and had my ICD implanted at 19 after i had a cardiac arrest.So i am still getting used to learning the do's and don'ts.Although i was briefed about what i shouldn't do,not everything was covered.Recently i was planning to have a trip with a few buddies.So among the many activities we planned on doing,the most rough would be the go cart.Wanted to make sure I'll be alright since i was told vibrations from the go cart might affect my device.Thank you everyone for the help and kind replies!

If you pace with rate response, the vibrations will fool it into thinking that you are exercising and raise your rate. It sounds like you may not even be pacing? It's harmless either way, just be aware of it because the first time it happens it feels odd. Go have fun with your buddies! These things are titanium, we won't hurt them.
