Every morning I wake up thrashing and pulling on my ICD. Hope I don't pull me leads out one of these days. In my sleep, subconsciously. I forget it's there and think.. what is this thing and it itches. Get it out of me 😂

pretty much 24/7
tried cocoa butter and shea cream
have left it dry the last couple days
I'm about ready to try surgical scrub or mittens

Mine really only itches at night. But it itches like a healing type itch.
Tried benadryl among other things I even have some high powered creams with steroids in them nothing really helps.
If I ever find a way to stop it I will let you know.

This will sound strange, but when you have an itch in a place you mustn't scratch, sometimes it helps to scratch somewhere else on your body.
Curiously, it really will stop the itch.

How long does the itching last?
I thought mine was infected I still try to scratch it at night.
