Las Vegas with new pace maker

Hello All,

I had my buddy ( pace maker ) placed 7 weeks ago due to bradycardia and honestly I feel so much better. I went to Las Vegas over the weekend for a romantic getaway and ended up coming back the next day. My question is has any one gone to Vegas and had similar symptoms that were there before your pace maker was placed come back?  I had the lightheadedness, nasuea and heart fluttering start again. Now that i'm back home I feel great again. So strange and going crazy thinking im going crazy!!!!

Have  pacemaker x 2 years and been to Vegas twice with no problems at all. I found that although I felt better after the pacemaker insertion my body required an "adjustment period " and I did tire but improved as I increased my exercise. As you are only 7 weeks post op maybe the hectic pace of Vegas( I assume you joined in that like the rest of us) was just too much too soon.

Never had an issue.  Maybe you just overdid.  Vegas is hectic or maybe the heat.   Sometimes its 102 degrees.  Keep hydrated.
