Lead of the PM had come out. can any one tell me why

I had received PM on 27th of July and was OK for next 3 months. I had visited hospitle twice during this period of 3 month for 2 times and every thing was OK, but to my surprise on 10th of Nov I had a bradia cardia again and was rushed to hospitle, on checking it was revelled that the leasd of the PM had come out.

No reason is attributed, is this a common with other receipents.

leads

It's very rare for a lead to come out after that long! If they come loose, it's usually in the first few days. Leads become dislodged less than 1% of the time. Sometimes our heart is shaped such that it's hard to find a good place, sometimes the heart wall doesn't like the type of lead used, sometimes it wasn't in a good spot, a trauma ( car accident, full golf swing or other strenuous sports too early) can pull it loose, sometimes it just happens and we never know why.

Good rational already given in other notes.  I can only add that maybe nothing was wrong but we do all heal differently from procedures.  Possibly you are slower in growing the scar tissue to secure the lead.

I finished 29th in London in 2 hours 20 minutes 30 seconds which is my fastest with or without a device so clearly it didn’t slow me down ! I had no problems apart from some slight chaffing on my scar - more Vaseline next time.
