av node ablation

After 24/7 high heart rate due to AFib - rate not controllable with meds - my cardiologist suggested AV Node Ablation with pacemaker which I had several months ago. Has anyone had this procedure and, if so, what has been your experience? Thanks. Juanito

Hi I had it done approx 2 years ago, simlilar to you medications would not work, best decision I have ever made , I had no energy before having it ,could hardly walk to the bathroom, now enjoying life I am male 82 years old from Australia, medications now are eliquis blood thinner, and nebilet beta blocker 100 mil cartia asprin, and magnesium tablet doing fine playing lawn bowls all good, all the best to you.
