Valve Regurgitation

I just got back from my Cardiologist follow up appointment and I am so excited!  I was told that the echo that they did 4 days post pacemaker implant showed NO valve leakage!!! My mitral & tri-cuspid valves were both mild to moderately leaking/regurgitating before my pacemaker implant.

Pacemaker Implant was 8-2-16.  A complication resulted in an echo being done 8-6-16.  My follow up was today, 6-22-17 with the wonderful news that no follow up care on my valves is needed.

Whoo Hooo!! Praise the Lord!! My valves were apparently just so stressed from the electrical issue that they were leaking.  I wondered if my valves could improve after my pacemaker and now I know that they definitely can and did, In 4 days!!!

Praise be to God!!

'Live long and prosper', and may 'The Force always be with you'.

We can also praise God. Perhaps you should buy a lottery ticket?

It is strange medical information indeed. A little mitral and tricuspid regurgitation is almost a normal finding.

Super news.

I feel so blessed to have this little gem implanted in me. When I think of the alternative it is quite overwhelming sometimes.
