Mitral valve replacement after getting a pacemak

I had a pacemaker inserted 5 days ago because I had an increasing bradycardia.  I am doing quite well with my recovery so far...better and better every day.  However my question is not about this recent surgery.  About a year ago, I was told by my cardiologist that I will soon need to have my mitral valve replaced due to mitral valve stenosis.  Have any of you had valve replacement with a pacemaker in place? How long after the pacemaker surgery did you have the valve replaced?

I know several people with a pm and had valve replacement surgery -- the quick and easy way.  There are several new ways to replace valves without open heart surgery.   Everyone who had this procedure did well with it and pm was no problem.
