I had a St.Jude Bi- v pacemaker put in yesterday. I am really sore, which I'm sure was to be expected.  My question is, should I be feeling a quivering in my stomach at times? It was prevelant right before I went home yesterday and agan today around dinner. Is this noreal and does it go away or is it a setting issue. I never thought in a million years I would need a pacemaker, but after open heart surgery for an aortic aneurysm repair a block occured.. So I am new to all of this..

Quivering in stomach

On June 20th I had a St. Jude crt-d implanted. I was sore for about 4 days, and the first few days I experienced a lot of unusual feelings. Where they from my pacemaker or ??? I did feel a quivering once in my abdomen area, but I wasn't sure what it was. In the hospital I felt a lot of things so I asked a lot of questions. When I got home, I put a piece of paper next to my bed and wrote down times and occurrences down so when I went to my doctor 1 week after surgery, all my concerns could be answered. Since we are so new to this new device, ask and don't play doctor! This forum here, has been amazing. We are all walking down the same path to recovery. Good luck and if you have any concerns, this group will definitely make you be more informed and help you! They are amazing!❤️

But I think it will make me feel a lot better. My stamina to walk is already better, even right after surgery. They had me walk all around the floor before they would release me. I did so without being exhausted and winded the way I had been.
