Good morning,
I trust all you lovely people are well.
My mom went for her follow up appointment after 3 months of receiving her pacemaker.
The doctor did bloods and found that her SACE levels were elevated and requested a PET scan to be done in the coming week.
Can anyone shed some light on this topic, she is 60 years old and is hypertensive as well.
Any feedback would be highly appreciated.
Thank you

HI NiceNiecey,
My mom had a branch bundle block with a heart rate of 21, therefore they had a pacemaker put in.
Thank for the repsonse.. fingers crossed its nothing serious.

Why the Pacemaker

Hi Lee.
Why did your mom get her pacemaker; i.e., what was her diagnosis? I am not familiar with SACE levels but a quick google check seemed to indicate it was possibly linked to sarcoidosis. I don't think SACE has anything to do with heart rhythm issues.
Hope you find answers for your mother.
