Shooting skeet

I recently had my pacemaker installed and will be taking it easy for 6 weeks.  I am a left handed shotgun shooter and think maybe my shooting days are over since the butt of the gun will be very close to the pacemaker.  Anyone with any experience on this?  Thanks.

Better start learning to shoot right-handed. 12 gauge has quite a kick and that would definitely ruin your day.

I'm sorry to say tbis, but  my post op instructions definately said no shooting of long guns from the left shoulder.  The PM box is very sturdy, so I suspect the concern is the leads and where they screw into the device.

Shooting skeet is a fun hobby.  I would learn to shoot with the right shoulder before giving up the hobby.

Strange, the doctor asked me if a was a left or right shooter. Then you can deside the side of the device. Didn't you get the possibility to choose?
