Hello!

I'm new here!  I think I meet the requirements, I felt ill at work, dizzy, weak, you know, like I had too many imperial IPA's.  Went to the doctor, and within one hour, found myself on an operating table. Apparently, I had a very slow heart rate, like 30 beats per minute.  Didn't  think it was that bad..

I feel much better now. It's been about 48 hours, and the only discomfort now the the sore muscle tissue above my left nipple. Wearing a sling because they say if I lift my arm, bad things might transpire.

Plenty of time right now to browse the internet, I've almost read everything on it. Then, I came across this website, and said to myself "I can identify with that!"

To make a long story short, the doctor told me "Go home! Life goes on!" Looks like I'll be off work for about 3 weeks. By the way, I'm 64, my job is maintenance mechanic in Palo Alto, Ca,

This site has a lot of good information.  Pacemaker Support Group on Facebook is also popular.  Healing properly is your current goal. Shouldrr movement is very important but no heavy lifting and gentle movements.  I wore the sling in bed because I normally do overhead stretches as I wake up and did not want to forget about the pm in the mornings. Hope the pm helps you be active again.

You know you're wired when...

Jerry & The Pacemakers is your favorite band.

I am just now 40 but have had these blackouts all my life. I am thrilled with the pacer and would do it all over again.
