Pacemaker Incision Site Discomfort

I was becoming concerned about the itching and mild pain at my incision site.  I read the comments made by others on this site and feel a lot better.  I will give it more time.  I have a small hypertrophic scar at the site but am not concerned about how it look.  It is about 2.5 inces by 1/8 th of an inch.  It actually looks pretty (smile).  'Make lemonade out of lemons.'  

Thanks for helping me alleviate my concerns.

You could always get eyes and a nose tattooed above it ;o) 

Robin listed the red flags. Itching is so normal! Just keep it hydrated with something all natural. I had a plastic surgeon tell me she could sell me expensive stuff or I could get plain old aloe or vitamin e at the drug store, doesn't much matter what we use as long as we regularly use something.
