Unusual Hypotension feelings

Still having ongoing problems with arrythmias, had a 3day monitor back in Feb and the physiologist said everything was fine. However when I saw the consultant he had picked up some AT that the pacemaker failed to dtected as it was quite a slow rate.Had a treadmill test and of cause I was absolutely fine ....typical!! so we left it and I just try and get on with all I like to do. On a low dose of bisoporol which I suspect he will want to increase when we next meet.

Have always had "moments" when I get hypotensive, lots before implant and after when I was getting PMS and higher dose of meds. Laterly these hypo's have been very weird, I feel myself going and on some occations I've kind of developed a twitch/spasam in my arm and or leg but only on the right side. This tends to happen if I look up very high or turn my head to the left and sort of squash my chin, first happened when I was trying to find a pen in the top pocked of my lab coat. It only lasts a few seconds to a miniute, but its very disconcerting, did mention it to the consultant be he didn't really say much.Any one out there havehad ro get something similar??

Cheers Jane

Cerebrovascular insufficiency

Nothing to do with pacemakers.

I would suggest you have cerebrovascular insufficiency if you get lightheaded/dizziness on turning your head tightly.  Sometimes neck arthritis is the cause, however it is worth some further investigations.

Other  rarer possibilities  spring to mind: whilst this can be associated with thoracic outlet syndrome, causing arm symptoms, the fact that you have right  leg symptoms from time to time points to something within the left side of your brain. I expect you could have some form of localised, epilepsy ( looking on the worst) ? cause.

I would suggest you seek a non urgent medical opinion. Don't know why you want to worry yourself by a public forum opinion?
