Sore to the touch

Hi all. I got my pacemaker implanted in 2010. It's starting to be really sore to the touch under the incision.  Anyone know why this could be happening?  I'm hoping it's not "growing out".

Hopefully it's not infection but if it is it needs to be treated quickly and aggressively, otherwise we're at risk for the whole thing needing to come out. Take even the smallest stymptom seriously.

UPDATE: Went to doctor.

I went to my cardiologist today.  She doesn't think it's infected.  But she's making me get a blood test to be sure.  (Robin1) if you read this, she wanted me to wait and see if if got better or worse on it's own, but then changed her mind to give me a blood test.

In fact after the final "tweaks" of my pacemaker programming at the one year check up it is working so well that I forget I have it.
