Maybe a dumb question

My knee dr told me to try Salon Pas for my knee. It has 4% lidocaine in it. Can I use this?I read bad things about lidocaine and heart rythmns. But maybe that was higher doses. If anybody knows can you tell me please? I dont want to but the Dr about this! ( feel I call him way to much!) I have afib too!thank you in advance!!!

Lidocaine

I had lidocaine prescibed 2 years ago for pain.  I had no ill effects.  For pain it is hard to beat.

I don't call doctors with questions anymore either.  I don't want to bother them so I don't take the med and wait until the next visit (sometimes months) to ask a question.  But that's just me.

While we all have pacemakers or CRT's we have them for different reasons or arrhythmias.  I would check with your doctor first since he knows your condition best.

Call if you can't wait.
