More surgery...

for my gallbladder to be removed.. And they found a mass on my liver, and my heart is enlarged with fliud around it. I also have a urinary dilation with my bile duct going into my liver swollen. Smitty what does all this mean.It seems to never stop. Didn't mean to bring anyone down ,just a simple pity party, only lasted 30 seconds though. LOL. Hope all are well.

oh dear i was afraid you might be sick being as tho we hadn't heard a peep for some time. you pooor thing. don't be silly it is not a pity party . you aren't like that. you are so concerned about others and now let others be concerned about you. you have a legitimate reason to feel overwhelmed. you will be in my prayers every day that your doctors can help restore you to health. you have alot wrong and it will take time to get better. so god bless you and keep you. jessie

I'm afraid this all means you are sick!

Now please don't be offended by my smart aleck comment, but I guess that shows how little I know about what it all means. I wish you the best and will keep you my prayers.

more surgery

by CathrynB - 2007-08-11 11:08:11

Oh Susan, I'm sorry to hear you're facing more surgery and medical issues. I hope there's a treatment plan to fix each one? Please know you are in the thoughts and prayers of all your PM Club friends and let us know how you're doing. Is it the gallbladder surgery that comes first? Keep us posted. Take care, Cathryn

We hear you

by Surferman - 2007-08-11 11:08:33

Susan, we hear your fear, anxiety, stress and pain.
We're concerned for you and hold you in our thoughts
and prayers as you and your MD;s work through your
new challenges. The gall bladder surgery is pretty common surgery but the recovery period is always stressful. I pray that the docs have a plan for dealing with the fluid around your heart and your liver. Please keep us posted and let us hear from you as your progress. Surferman

My thoughts...

HI Susan,

I'm sorry to hear about your setbacks. Wow. I'll be thinking of you and wishing you speedy healing.

I somehow missed your distressing post about all you have in front of you! I keep thinking of that old adage, "when it rains it pours!" I had my gallbladder removed about 18 years ago, and was also told there was a "spot " on my liver. When I went for my follow up following surgery, the spot was gone! I can only hope that for you! Please know you will be in my prayers. Prayer is so powerful! I wish you the best!
