Are you taking medications/beta blockers that are often prescribed for people with arrythmias?  If so, sometimes they need to try several different types to find the one that may help you.  You may also be a candidate for a heart ablation.  That procedure attempts to ablate  the tissue that is producing the errant electrical impulses that cause the afib etc.  There is a lot of information on line that shows videos and describes that procedure.  What does your doctor say about treating your condition?

I too am in afib 100% of the time.   I do not pretend to know everything or actually very much about all this.  The only thing that happens for me is, I have to have my pacer changed more frequently than usual as the battery works that much more...
