Hi everyone,
I had a PM put in 2 months ago.
I'm now feeling pinching of the skin around the pacemaker, and a new tension of something - I can't be sure what - in that area.
It feels as if the PM has turned in its pocket and the leads or the tissue are stretched, and it's painful.
It's Saturday night, and I don't know if there's much point going to the doctor's until Tuesday (Monday's a holiday here)
Any suggestions or ideas about what could be going on?
Hope you're all well

I have had my pacer since 2005. At first it ruled my life. It took some time to calm down and make the mental adjustment. I had trouble sleeping and I worried a lot about pulling wires. Now I just live my life as I wish.
Thank you!

That's reassuring, thank you robin.
I have to admit I've been trying to find pictures of the Pacemaker to see if I can work out how to "loosen it" by myself, such was the angst it caused. But I realised that was probably a very bad idea, and fortunately stopped myself.
Today it feels much better, and can wait till Tuesday I think. Learning new stuff about this little thing in my chest every day.
Thanks for your response
