PAC'S

After my AV node ablation I've beong experiencing more PAC's which are showing up on my PM checks. Was on Bisoprolol but started to develope an atrial tachycardia which the consultant thinks was triggered by the PAC's or a focal point caused by previous ablation scaring.Changed to Flecainide initially felt "quieter" bit the PAC's occur when I start to push my HR up and are happening more frequently, and give me palpation symptoms, probably triggering off the AT again

So on the 6th Dec I'm getting yet another treadmill test to see if we can capture anthying. From reading other posts I will push to get the treadmill rate up to a level that will exert me.

Has anyone out there had PAC'c that have caused problems and drugs don't seem to help.

Not sure how bad you need to get before they talk about an ablation, I don't want to end up developing Afib which can be triggered by reacurrent PAC'c.

I do keep trying to get out and about but once again I'm back to limiting myself to gentle stuff, so fustrating as when I'm ok I feel great and can do all I wish to do.

We've had some proper winter weather here, the mountains are looking fab with their snowy tops.

Cheers Jane

I had terrible PVC AND PAC. flecainide helped but didn't stop so, i decided to track what i eat.  I had gained so much weight i needed to lose so decided to go very healthy and removed all sugar and cute way down on carbs,  doctor said,  sure, go for it.  The pvc and pac reduced to almost nothing within 3 days. I have lost 35 lbs in 7 months and feel so much better.  I exercise more and I eat all the time. Dr says sugar is my trigger. I have had pvc runs that were awful but each time I can remember eating something I shouldn't.  Find your trigger good and get rid of it.  Hope this helps.
