Hello. Wondering if anyone has found an affordable health plan with decent coverage. I will be in need of a new device next year and as it stands I will be at least $10,000 out of pocket on top of my premiums :( any input would be wonderful .. I am presently residing in Nevada ... thank you

As another UK resident, it fills me with sadness to read of the financial issues you face in the US with your healthcare system.
I know from time that I have spent in the US that the concept of " Socialised medicine " , as you call it, is viewed with suspicion but as Selwyn's experience shows, it has alot going for it !
I hope that you find an affordable plan

Why the USA, as one of the great nations of this world, does not get a more humanitarian approach to health, is beyond my Anglo-Saxon thinking?
Having this year had 2 echocardiograms, 5 CT scans ( including 2 whole body scans), 3 hospital admissions, a 24 hour ECG and numerous standard ECGs, a coronary artery stent, an ablation, attending two cardiac departments, one haematology, one oncology, and one respiratory department, numerous blood tests, and medication including apixabam ( anticoagulation) my only charge has been for car parking, if required, in the hospital grounds.
The USA needs to consider its health care, and social care for those with acute and chronic health problems. We hear, in the UK, that for the middle well off American, they are hardest hit. You really do have my sympathy. There is enough to worry about health without having to make difficult life choices.
