Turn it off
Has anyone had their ICD deactivated? I've had mine since 2012 and it has never done anything or recorded any events.
I want it deactivated. What's the process?

If you still have the condition that caused you to get it in the first place, I would not mess with it. It's great that you've never needed it, but it only has to fire once to save your life. That's why you have it. May you continue to never need it! I've never had a car accident or house fire either, but I renew my insurance every year.
