Pacemaker blackouts

Hi my names Arye I’m 22 and I’ve had a pacemaker for 2 years. I’m bradycardia(spelled wrong i believe) anyways, every so often i feel “funny” almost dizzy like, last night i took a simple drink of water and started to fade in and out of a black out. In my mind this isn’t normal, do i need to be concerned? Any advice would be appreciated as I’m a little freaked out

call your doctor

You need to be seen, both by your cardiologist and gp. It may be cardiac, it may be something else. Tell them the day/time it happened so they can check the pacer reports. Do you have a home monitor? If so, send a download then call and tell them to look for it. You should see your gp also to get blood work done, rule out blood sugar, thyroid, stuff like that. Were you hydrated and had you eaten when it happened? Last time I had bad dizzy spells it was vertigo, a physical therapist did this crazy thing with my head to reset the crystals in the inner ear and it went away. Anyway, it could be a lot of things, but it's for sure not normal

A strong possibility.  I feel it if I tilt my head side to side or when I look up....as in taking a drink like you describe.

I never had vertigo before....not fun...my physical therapist did the same crazy thing as Traceys.  Get checked out.

I am no expert, but I believe that without the defibrillator that I have, I would be dead.
