My merlin recorded an afib event of over 2 hours one time, they are telling me I need two very costly medications. My question, I had an echo optimization one month prior to this event could the adjustment to the ICD create afib?
I have had a ICD since 2011.

You know you're wired when...
Your pacemaker interferes with your electronic scale.

So, my advice is to go about your daily routine and forget that you have a pacemaker implanted in your body.

There is another site may answer your questions: StopAfib.org
I have AFIB periodically, and may have to go on medicine. I never know when I am in AFIB, but when I have a device check I receive a complete report showing the date, time, and how long I was in AFIB. I also keep a daily calendar of events. Every time I have AFIB it was caused by a stressful event. So.... I am trying to calm down! (I go to the gym & listen to soft music during the day).
Everyone is different. Best of Luck! Let us all know what meds you are taking and if they work.
