Post Pacemaker Fitment medical Condition issues

I have had a pacemaker fitted for almost a year to fix slow heart rate, light headed feelings & only when exercising, blacking outs.

While the pacemaker has made a definite improvement to my general energy levels, I am still getting the other symptoms when exercising. The pacemaker has been checked several times & is working perfectly, I have just had a tilt table test which has revealed my blood pressure drops. My blood pressure seems higher since the pacemaker. The hospital is reluctant to give me medication to alter my BP as it may make my symptoms worse. I eat healthy food, drink very little alcohol & don't smoke. I exercise regularly but find it difficult to do aerobic exercise like fast walking/ slow running for very long due to the possible blackout that may happen,

Does anybody suffer similar issues & have any solutions. I would very gratefull for any info as I do love running, biking, swimming etc.   .

PM Adjustments

Your PM may be working perfectly but have they tried a setting adjustment or two.

We are all different and it is common to need adjustments from time to time, especially if you are active.

NCS

Look up NCS, neurocardiogenic syncope. The pacer doesn't have a direct impact on bp, it doesn't make it higher and it can't keep it from dropping so with NCS it only fixes half the problem. There are diet modifications and medications that can help.
