Out of rhythm

Hi, I joined Saturday and posted after my husband had a bolt of lightning incident.  We contacted the cardiologist this morning and they had us transmit data.  She called and said that his heart had gone into --I'm heard of hearing-- "bot" rhythm.  My husband, listening on the other phone, thought she said "bad," but I am sure that is a term they would not use. I tried looking this up and all I can find is "bot" in music means discord. Can anyone enlighten me about this term? Is it just generally meaning out of rhythm?  They told us to restart the higher dose of Pacerone that was cut in December due to how well he seemed to be doing, and ordered a blood test to check for ?? calcium?  I have so much difficulty hearing that I am slow to process-- anyway, that is our status and I am amazed at the technology and the wealth of knowledge out there.

Ask for a copy of the pacemaker report and the instructions. Usually they can email them to you or call them and tell them you driving to the office to pick them up and please have them ready for you.

calling doctor

Thank you both for your repliesl I know that they( cardio office) will call back when he gets the blood tests. Or my daughter can call and ask; she does that often. Driving to get the test results is NOT an option, they are about 100 miles RT from us, but they will post them on the website and I can access them through a patient portal. While I was waiting, I was curious whether "bot rhythm" is a common term or not and thought you experienced people might happen to know. The only problem is that our local hosptial is the pits and we called to be sure the order for the test was there, since it is snowy and I didn't want to go and find out that it wasn't. We had a bad experience with them last June when my h was supposed to have a CT scan to be sure his blood infrection was cleared up. Made an appointment and all, when we got there they had no orders. why would they have made the appt if they didn't have the script? Anyway, the doc resent the order but the hospital could not reschedule us for a week so he (my hisband, not the doc! LOL) had to stay on meds an extra week due to their error.  Our cardiologist is WONDERFUL and  we have NO issues there, we get all the help and info we need.
