anxiety and panic attacks

Hi,  i am a 46 yo female and  I am about 19 weeks from getting a CRT for my 2nd degree heart block.  Back in July I stopped taking Paxil for history of panic attacks and anxiety... I was doing good without the med with increase in this after pacemaker that subsided, and now is back in full force.  I am seeing a counselor for this.  My question is, I have done some research on the Paxil and in the FDA labeling, there is a small section about in the cardiovascular section about heart block listed as a rare side effect.  I did not know if anyone ever heard of this first of all.  Secondly because of this, I do not want to go back on one of these medicatons because of this and now am trying to figure out a more natuaral way to handle these aweful panic attacks.  Does anyone know of a natuaral way that will not effect my pacemaker to help with my symptoms???

Thank you

Panic attack

I am on no heart medication but have been getting these too. I believe from what I have read that now that the pacemaker steps in so quickly and adjusts the heart rythym that it elevates it and this triggers the fight or flight mechanism built in all of us as instict residing in the megdula. This elevated heart rate makes no sense when looking out into the world with no threat. So the mind goes into anxiety and then if you dwell on it panic. Just think of it as a fleeting thought and dont chase it but look at it as a car driving by with a feeling that you wont entertain. There are some very helpful videos on Youtube. Your not alone!
