Irregular Heart Rate

Hi,

Since my last post i have seen my dr and technician and they have increased the rate to 60bpm which has seemed to have helped my fatigue.

However last week my PM did an automatic check using the Boston Lattitude communicater that i have.

Apparently all was ok, and i have been assured by my dr that no adjustments were made but over the past few days i have noticed my resting heart rate has increased to the 90's and i am having alot of skipped beats ( I contacted my dr who suggested i put up with it for the moment.) this feels a bit like it did when i had problems with it overpacing.... i have also had a couple of fast tachy episodes overthe last couple of days.

I know this is more than likely nothing but it is rather annoying. just wondering if anyone else has had this happen after an automatic check?

The cause of changing conditions

When two things happen one right after the other, it doesn't always mean that the first one caused the second one.

Your doctor has assured you that no changes to your settings were made.

Blaming the monitor for changes in your condition is a little like blaming the thermometer if you have begun to feel more feverish since the last time you took your temperature.

I've seen many posts about people being concerned about exercise after having a device so thought I would let you know that yesterday I raced my first marathon since having my pacemaker fitted in fall 2004.
