Discomfort to Sleep SideOn

Hello! So I've never been able to sleep on my chest, its just too uncomfortable and painful. But recently, over the past month or so, attempting to sleep on my (pacemaker) side has become more and more uncomfortable, with me taking ages to settle. I've become much more concious of my PM site, although theres no bruising around the scar. I had a checkup very recently, and its due to be changed next year. But in the mean time, any advice on what I should do? Is it worth getting an appointment for to be checked, or am I just over thinking?

Thanks guys!

Side Sleeping

by Grateful Heart - 2018-03-03 09:59:21

I have to sleep on the opposite side or on my back since my device which was 9 years ago.  It pinches my skin and hurts if I try to sleep on the left side.  Some have no problem...we are all different.

But this sounds new to you.  Make sure it doesn't feel hot or appear red.  Any new or strenuous exercise involving your upper body lately?  If concerned, you can always be checked out.
