Arm Inflammation/Swelling

Hello fellow bionics!

I've had my dual-chamber pacemaker implanted in November 2010 at 16 years old. Fortunately, I am still on my first implant.. and healthy! I've been inquiring about a particular cosmetic complication for a few years now, and decided to join this forum to see if anyone else has experienced this for YEARS like myself! I work out at the gym, do yoga, and eat right (most of the time) but for as long as I can remember my left arm, PM side, is significantly larger than my right arm. As if it's swollen or inflammed and has never gone down! I asked my Electrophysiologist and he suggested less blood flow over the years. It embarrases me so much, I even call it my "fat arm"! (Also, I'm a female. Hence why it bothers me.. AKA tank tops, ladies!)

Does anyone else have this problem? Has anything been done to decrease the "swelling" look. Thanks :)

in on my cellphone waiting for a case to start.....

have you looked into lymphedema? I know it’s usually associated with cancer survivors but blockages can happen to anyone.  Very common cause. But swelling can me a myriad of things.
