MRI friendly ICD
Hi I’ve recently had a pacemaker fitted but now need an ICD. Are there any MRI friendly ICDs available privately in the UK? I assume they aren’t generally available on the NHS.

I have the Medtronic, they make several models that are MRI compatible, not sure if they are available in the UK though.

I have a brand new ICD that also paceses. My hart ER is only 10 -15 %. The ICD was put in to stop suden death. It has been in for 5 weeks now and healed up very well.
Long story short is. Yes my ICD is MRI approved. Hope it is available in the UK.
