Musical instruments

My PM was implanted 6 weeks ago. Just prior to developing bradycardia and being retired, I was seriously thinking about buying a cello and starting cello lessons. Because I'm right handed the cello would have to rest on my left shoulder. Do any of you play musical instruments that rest in/on/around the left shoulder? How does it affect your playing? Maybe I should think about taking up a wind instrument like the clarinet or oboe. Any advise? Surferman

Hi Surferman,

Could you put a cushion of some sort between the cello and your shoulder? What a beautiful instrument to play! I only play the flute so I don't know much about the cello, but a cushion would probably help.
