See the doctor. That's not normal 2-plus months post-op.

I agree

My CRT-D was put in about the same time (1/30) and I did develop an infection about 3 weeks ago of the outer part of the incision and the sensation when it was starting was about the same.  As soon as I saw the incision was getting redder and the red was beginning to spread, I went in right away and was started on antibiotics.  It cleared up, but it took a couple of weeks.

Six months after my 3rd operation I too had the same burning and pinch like sensation on the incition and it bothers me so much that i went back to my doctor/surgeon for the first time after all my operations. My doctor said that if it really went wrong then he will reoperate it again that made me anxious and scared. However, before anything was made and or decided he hold the pace maker and move it sideways, up and down that made my tears roll down without knowing because of too much pain. I was about to fall from the chair i sat but after that painful touch though is a relief and peace of mind. I did not undergo reoperation neither take any medication. I think the pacemaker somehow was misplaced or the lead maybe.

I was happy to visit my doctor/surgeon for the 1st time after 6 months of my operation which i don't usually do despite my doctors' advice. Sometimes it pays to visit to your doctor because he knows what's best for you.

So i always suggest to visit your doctor. Take it from a person who's scared to go a doctor/hospital and prefer to take the pain to its maximum limit. Why suffer if you can be relieved from pain?😊
