Support Groups in Rhode Island

Does anyone know of any support groups in RI or maybe even Southern Massachuesetts? I am a 44 year old female ane would love to find other people to talk with!

Hello Karen, The organization Mended Hearts has groups organized across the country. It was first founded as support for open-heart surgery patients but has expanded over the years to include other cardiac patients. They do have a website you can access. The other suggestion I have is to check the American Heart Association for support groups in your area. Most large medical center (hospitals) that have cardiac programs offer support groups. You might try calling the facilities in your general area. I hope you find something that will work for you. Take care and God bless.
