Shoulder Pain

I had my pacemaker surgery on the 11th and have had shoulder pain off and on throughout the day and wondered if this is normal and if others have also experienced this..

People are very different in the amount of discomfort they feel following the surgery--and for how long--but most do have some pain.

Yes, I had pain.  Tylenol helped, only somewhat.  I tried icing and heat sessions.  I did arm exercises several times a day.  I was careful not to hurt myself.  I improved over a period of weeks.  Gotrhythm is right - people are different in dealing with pain.  You'll recover!
