Body can still be adjusting to pacemaker

Your body can still be adjusting to the pacemaker. Everyone heals at a different rate.  I was more beat up than most pacemaker recipients because I had CPR so I had all sorts of funny stuff going on.  For me it was a two year recovery process.  But for most people it isn't anywhere near as long.  Sometimes just having a more consistent and stronger heartbeat triggers the problem.  And, of course, I assume you don't have a fever or chills.  Infections can trigger the symptoms too.

You can call EP's office and see if they have any comments.  But unless it's something way out of the ordinary they probably will tell you it's just your body still adjusting.  It doesn't hurt to call them and see if they have any suggestions.

The other thing you can do is keep a log of when you get the headaches.  Then see if you can spot anything that triggers the problems.

I found out I was diabetic.  So when the blood sugar goes real low I'll get the headaches and dizziness you describe.  For me it's time to take a sugar fix.  Doesn't mean you have the same problem - just what causes it for me.

Hope everything else is going well for you.

You know you're wired when...

Bad hair days can be blamed on your device shorting out.

I'm 35 and got my pacemaker a little over a year ago. It definitely is not a burden to me. In fact, I have more energy (which my husband enjoys), can do more things with my kids and have weight because of having the energy.
